What I've learned from this picture ... is that maybe I don't have to go too far to hear wise words ... just to seek and reach wisdom ... but it's the beauty
of the journey ... some of the places you find yourself ... that makes it worth it

Beautiful rendering; do you work from photos or from life? I take it you use a tablet...any other special tools?? :)

I work from both, but this is obviously painted from imagination. :) Just a tablet & photoshop--nothing too special.

"nothing too special," except your amazing inborn talent, eh, Mr. Modesty?!? ;) I haven't had a chance to watch your live drawing feed yet but I am monitoring the website... ;)

i like the lighting, and love the clouds and mountains, but i don't think this one can compare to your other ones. if i'm reading this painting correctly, i think you had more fun with the background than you did the middle ground. the treatment on the middle ground just feels uncharacteristic of you.
